<= Harvest Moon's
Herd Sire
IAGARB
Registered - Bungalow Farm's Mack 100% New Import
German Angora buck. Mack holds
the best registered
IAGARB
fiber production record for a buck! He was the top
producing record holder for 2007, and he has an
outstanding track record for passing this trait on to
his offspring. His fiber production
is GW=1860 gm,
AW=1716 gm, that adds up to a pound of fiber per
90-day shearing.
AND he received a total score of 99.5 out of a possible
100 points. His sire was bred by Samson Angoras, and
his dam was bred by Windsor Farms. He also
has a very laid back temperament, gorgeous
crimp
and luster, and fabulous furnishings! |
| Harvest Moon's Electra sired
by Bungalow Farms Mack, out of Bungalow Farms Nina. She has a
great combination of outstanding qualities from both parents.
An awesome producer!! Even better than her half sister Amaryllis
who produces over 16.4 oz every 90 days! She
looks amazing in this picture, especially since she lives with
five two month old kits!! :o) |
Cindy's Treasures' Elizabeth Swan
is a lovely doe with outstanding density.
She was an excellent mother to her litter of seven born on may
5th. She is sired by
Samson's Ludwig out of Samson's Matilda. She's a big
girl, weighing 11#s without her fur coat on. I finally
remembered to get a picture of her in full coat.
:o) |
Samson's Orion has a pedigree full of
exceptional producers. He has wonderful texture,
good density, and an excellent temperament. His sire was
bred by Susan Wiley and dam was bred by Samson's Angoras.
He wouldn't sit still for his picture. |
Coming soon, a pic of Electra's daughter
Harvest Moon's Joi de Vivre. |

This sweet girl is our newest addition. Her fiber
spins up such a beautiful warm honey color. She's
64.5% German/French Hybrid out of the famous red/fawn/torte throwing Yuri. She produced
388gs/13.6oz at her 90 day shearing in late February.
Very impressive
density for a 64% German doe. Oh, and she's a fabulous mom
to boot! Thanks Kim!!
|
Her coat is partially grown out in picture above.
Our sweet and shy little 48% German/French lilac doe has great
color and is free of spots. Her sire is a 98%German blue
eyed chocolate buck, and her dam is a lovely fawn French doe.
I plan on breeding her to my German buck Orion when she is of
age. |
She has the honor and
distinction of being the first colored rabbit to achieve
registration with IAGARB!! And,
she
holds one of the top official IAGARB
registered production scores of 478gs/16.6oz of fiber produced
per 90 day shearing, 409gs/14.4oz of it prime.
1912gs GW and1767gs AW are produced by her per year.
She has an excellent temperament, and not a spot on her. |
We are
so excited to have Blessed Farms Fudge, a 77% German chocolate self
buck! He is sired by Millenial's Mickey Blue Eyes, out of
Benton View's Dew It Gladly. Thanks Kim!!
